Season of Spring is on its way out and it wasn’t lots of fun this year. With so much rain and low temperatures, I guess most people are looking forward to upcoming weeks and hope for a good start into summer. Which actually starts tomorrow, meteorological. Let’s hope for the best.
Well, what makes me to kick at this years poor springtime one more time is that yesterday was the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky’s ballet “Le sacre du printemps”, that was first released at Théâtre du Champs-Élysée in Paris on May, 29 in 1913. French/German tv channel ARTE aired the gala performance that took place at same location, this time showing the adaption of german choreographer Sasha Waltz.
I’d like to add an extract of the adaption of another great german choreographer Pina Bausch, who died almost 4 years ago on June, 30 in 2009. And that will be enough remembrance for today.
